about
Alice Randall was diagnosed with a physical disability of Cerebral Palsy from birth but that has never stopped her achieving in life. Alice is the singer and songwriter of Memories, the songs inspiration is based on her childhood experiences.
She never had a lot of confidence when being a child because of being bullied at School. Despite all of these challenges Alice always wanted to be a radio presenter from the age of six. She listened to many presenters in the car and loved the way they were engaging with the audience. She knew she would never be able to walk because of her disability but likely it didn’t affect her speaking.
Alice was siting her bed last year when she remembered these different times and decided to get her musician friends together to play on the song. Alice’s favourite group is Madness from the 80s, which the songs rhythm is based on and has a Status Quo Rock feel to make the song have a positive and upbeat feel.
All proceeds go to the charity Disability Rights UK to fight for Disability Rights and to make people have a better of life. All Alice’s band members say Alice is so determined and hardworking and their pleased to be part of her song.
